Castle Model (Untextured)

After struggling with the castle model I was working on using Rhino, I ultimately decided to ditch my original idea and work on a new model that's more so inspired by a fairytale tower, especially the famous one from the fairytale Rapunzel.  To do that, I relied on gridsnap a lot more to get more accurate proportions than I did in my original model.  I started out with a box, which I combined with more boxes using the Boolean function to create an iconic castle structure with merlons as a base.  From there, I created a cone structure with a top shape on top to form the rest of the tower, and added windows using Boolean after merging a square with a circle and extruding the final shape.  Thus, I ended up with this as a base model:

From there, I added some more details, including merlons to the top of the tower by rotating a box and using Boolean to remove the copies from the base.  However, while doing this I struggle with forming the divets properly so some of the merlons ended up looking awkward and some of the boxes appeared behind the wall even after I tried to remove them.

Even though it looked a little awkward, there wasn't much I could do to fix it once they were all forged into a single shape.  So, instead, I got to work on adding a new detail to the side of the tower.  So, to add some detail around the main area, I created a line of spheres going up and wrapping around the tower, thus finishing my base and preparing to add texture.

(I had to view the spheres from every angle to ensure that they were all attached to the wall.)
